The storefronts, the lights, the decor and the magic of New York during the holiday season... with a setting like this, who needs anything more? The city is always the perfect place for a great photoshoot, but with all the Christmas buzz, there's really no need for additional accoutrement. Photographed by Rebecca Crumley {who you also know as The Knot's photo editor and blogger}, the shoot focuses - quite perfectly - on Cassie, John and the magic of the season. And the results are magical.
From the Photographer, Rebecca Crumley: So while you may know me as the weddings photo director for The Knot and blogger for The Knot Wedding Obsessions blog, I've actually always been a photographer! From time to time I shoot weddings myself and was totally excited when my future clients Cassie and John were up for an engagement shoot. With the help of Melissa from Chandelier Events and makeup extraordinaire Tim Wilkins, we hit the streets of New York City for a festive holiday-themed photo shoot.My favorite New York City holiday tradition is stopping into Rolf's for a Christmas cocktail, so it was a must-have location on my list! Other stops included Union Square, a Christmas tree lot, the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue, the Palace Hotel, The Campbell Apartment, Grand Central Station, and of course the New York subways. And since we scheduled it the same day as SantaCon NYC, I was totally psyched we found some willing Santas to pose with Cassie and John!

Rumors are now swirling that Kevin Jonas was purchasing an engagement ring for long time girlfriend Danielle Deleasa. Kevin was spotted shopping at high end jewelry store David Yurman with his brothers and mother Denise on Saturday night.
Denise has stated in the past that she would like to be present to pick out the engagement rings for her son's future wives. David Yurman is also home of some of the most beautiful engagement rings in the US.
Kevin has also mentioned that he would like to get married at a young

Asking my ol lady to marry me on Broken Bow lake....I told her to video me doing a trick with our dogs...little did she know she was in for the suprise of her life!!
Got a fake ring at Walmart, hid the real ring in the tackle box. The real ring was my Great Grandmas wedding ring....thank God i didnt drop that in!
The set up: we have two Border Collies, both very smart dogs. So i told my now wife to get the camera out because i
was going to do a trick with the dogs and i wanted her to film it. Thats why you hear her say "Treats? Does he have treats?". And thats why the camera is sideways the whole time, she freaked out and let go of the camera....thank God she put the wrist ring on!
