You are engaged and want to share you joy with everyone. Youve decided on fabulous destination wedding in some tropical, beach location or some other exotic spot.
And youre thinking it would be a good idea to infuse the theme into [fill in the blank here.] It could your birthday, your holiday plans or just about anything.
There is too much of a good thing. Having a beach themed bridal shower/bachelorette party may intrigue you, but resist the urge. You are thrilled about your European wedding, but resist the urge for an Italian themed Thanksgiving. You CAN go over the top in theming.
This hit home for us recently when a friend invited us to a party. The party was, you guessed it, beach themed. The bride-to-be was so thrilled with her upcoming destination wedding in Jamaica that she decked out the party with reggae, Bob Marley, jerk chicken and about every other Jamaican cliché. It was a party, not her wedding.
The same can also be true at your actual destination wedding. Just because youre in an Italian villa doesnt mean everyone needs to act like extras in The Godfather. Just because your nuptials are on some tropical island, doesnt mean that you need to decorate EVERYTHING in seashells.
Your friends and family are excited for you. And they want to be a part of your special day. Just keep your excitement in check.

Natalie and Dave's love was evident throughout their entire day. It started out with thoughtful cards. You could see the twinkle in their eyes, as they were getting ready and reading them out loud. The wedding ceremony was held at Evangelical Covenant Church of Hinsdale. Their beautiful reception was at Medinah Country Club. Special thanks to the incredibly talented Michael Rastall Photography for introducing this wonderful couple to our work.

For those of us living in Manhattan, coming down after the eyes-glazed-over registry gun high is akin to a bad champagne hangover. C'est magnifique! you dreamily thought only moments prior, imagining the massive wine fridge that will {clearly} sit neatly next to your {future} Sub-Zero fridge and match the patina of your {visionary}Viking range. However, now at home, you somberly give up said wine fridge's space for a place to fit, say, the trash can. And you rationalize: Ah well, I only chill whites anyway, right? Wrong! According to the October issue of Bon Appetit magazine, most reds should be carefully chilled as well, making that wine fridge quite an important purchase on your registry, for now and the future. Consider that most reds are best enjoyed at temperatures ranging from 55-65 degrees, but average room temperature is about 70 degrees. Serving wines too warm will emphasize the alcohol rather than the flavor and aroma nuances.
However, if the wine fridge absolutely cannot squeeze into your space, here's a little "red wine rule of thumb" from us at Merci:
Lighter reds {Pinor Noir, Beaujolais}- chill one hour
Medium bodied reds {Rioja, Chanti}- chill 45 minutes

Elegant Wedding March by Mendelssohn (Long Version) - Miranda Wong Version
If you have been reading our tweets and perusing our Facebook page, you've probably been wondering why we haven't uttered a peep about Bridal Market on the blog. Yes, it wrapped last week. Yes, we loooved the shows. Yes, the events were awe-inspiring. And yes, we cannot wait to share all the pretty details... But we kind of want to take a different approach. Not bombard you with all the sweetness at once {because believe me, we've got a lot}. We're doing this in tiny touches. Pretty pieces. One designer and event at a time. Because guess what? These gorgeous gowns aren't hitting the stores tomorrow, they're coming down the pipeline in the months to come. With Halloween on the horizon, I cannot help but think of one of my mom's most frustrating tactics when I was a kid. After bringing home piles and piles of delicious candy from all around the neighborhood, my big bag of treats would sit {just out of reach} atop the fridge and I would be allowed one piece of Halloween candy a day. Total torture for a ten year old. But maybe mom had a point. Bridal market is our big bag of Halloween bounty. It's a jack-o-lantern filled with sweet, fashionable treats and gorgeous goodness. Boy, do we want to dive right in. But we're not going to gorge you. We're feeding one juicy, little morsel at a time and letting these puppies last you til December. It certainly lets the fun linger a little longer... Here's hoping you enjoy our {intentionally intermittent} bridal market posts! xx, Jacqueline Alrighty, all that said, are you ready for some bridal market? I'm excited to share our take on the the fabulous Anne Bowen collection. Being of Welsh decent, Anne Bowen titled her collection "Of the Gods," and named her gowns after Welsh Goddesses like Tamara {Goddess of Rivers}, Serona {Goddess of Healing} and Don {Goddess of the Heavens}. It was truly breathtaking to watch these ethereal creations saunter down the runway. Anne provided a bit of goddess-goodness for every bride. Loved the dress on the left for a chic reception dress, or quite frankly, as one's only dress for an intimate, yet chic wedding. Can't you just see the layers of layers of sheer fabric pairing well with a fete atop the Gansevoort rooftop? J'adore. Equally ethereal, but worlds apart stylistically, the gown on the right is wonderfully romantic, but the swirling layers add a modernized texture that keeps it from becoming too sweet. Again, an amazing juxtaposition in style showcasing the breadth of the Anne Bowen line. At left, drama sings most high with a bold shoulder for the fashion-forward bride. You really need gusto to wear this dress, but I can name countless city brides who would rock this with the chic confidence it deserves. At right, the most demure of brides can find simple solace in this classic, elegant silhouette. Two trends we want your two-cents on! One of the most prevalent trends across market was the presence of what we like to call "veiled" gowns. Here, the shimmer of the sheath underneath is softened by a textural layer of tulle. What would normally be a bit "bling" is instantly transformed by the tulle into a softer silhouette. What are your thoughts? The gown at right began a Twitter conversation on it's own when we polled our readers about Anne's "bridal hood." There's a pneumatic beauty to it's shape, and we love it for a certain destination bride... but would you wear it on your wedding day? Perhaps you saw our tweets about these gowns... The gown at left is one of the most fluid, luscious pieces I have ever seen. The wonderfully lush fabric flowed like a wave down the runway - making it a perfect pick for gamine figures looking to channel their inner goddess. The gown at right pairs well for more petite figures. Embracing the ever-popular illusion neckline in a new way, I loved the creation of a v-neckline from an otherwise sweetheart bodice, as well as the figure-enhancing soft chevrons created from the overlapping fabric. So lovelies... which goddess-like gowns suit your fancy? Would you opt for a "veiled" dress, bridal hood, or bold one-shoulder neckline on your wedding day?

Title: GameInside meets Tony Yayo : G Unit ( 50 Cent ) in Hamburg 14.03.2010
GameInside.de trift den US Rapper von G Unit bei seiner Europatour in Hamburg.
Tony Yayo (* 31. März 1978 in New York; eigentlich Marvin J. Bernard) ist ein amerikanischer Rapper. Zusammen mit 50 Cent und Lloyd Banks gründete er 1998 die Gruppe G Unit.
Biographie [Bearbeiten]

We had a very difficult time finding bridesmaid dresses we liked that were also affordable. Many dresses looked like cheap prom/homecoming dresses rather than a cute yet classy, beach-appropriate bridesmaid dress.
Hands down, the best dresses we found were the from the Ann Taylor Celebrations line. They make it easy by selling coordinated dresses, sashes, bags and accessories in vibrant colors. Its also important that you dont have to order them and wait a long time to get it. They also offer bridal gowns and even matching flower girl dresses. Last summer they had a beautiful light blue that was perfect for a beach wedding!
The disadvantage is that they only carry it at 40 select stores nationwide (thankfully the one near us carried it). You can order online, but this is the kind of thing you really want your girls to try on.
The runner-up was Jessica McClintock. While many of her dresses fell into the prom category, she did have several that made our bridesmaid Amanda happy and didnt make her look like she was in high school.
